Pengaruh Business Intelligence Terhadap Kualitas Pengambilan Keputusan Manajerial Pada UMKM |

Abstrak This study examines the effect of Business Intelligence (BI) on the quality of managerial decision-making in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). An explanatory quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was employed. Data were collected through questionnaires from 57 MSME owners selected using purposive sampling. Multiple linear regression with a bootstrapping approach was applied to obtain robust parameter estimates under violations of classical assumptions. Due to severe multicollinearity between the data quality and system quality dimensions, both variables were merged into a composite variable referred to as technology quality. The findings indicate that Business Intelligence dimensions simultaneously have a significant effect on decision-making quality, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 96.1%. Partially, only information quality has a positive and significant effect, whereas technology quality does not significantly influence decision-making quality. These findings suggest that successful Business Intelligence implementation in MSMEs depends more on the ability to generate relevant, accurate, and timely information than on technological investment alone. Nevertheless, the exceptionally high coefficient of determination should be interpreted cautiously because the cross-sectional, self-reported research design may be susceptible to Common Method Bias, potentially inflating the observed relationships among variables. |
